China is a vast country with an age-old civilization a variety of its region opera is incalculable. The accent spoken in various regions serves to shape different kinds of operas. In agricultural days, opera made and indelible contribution to society by serving as a source for education and catharses as well as entertainment moreover just a present diversion from every day life's toil. Region opera has traditionally been apart of China's social fabric. Bringing people together and cementing interpersonal bonds. The Chinese people love of opera is especially keen when it comes to the operatic style of their own hometowns or regions.  Although Taiwan developed late in Chinese history Taiwan's preservation of the traditional Chinese culture has been immense. Regional opera ranks among the Chinese arts as that most representative of traditional folk culture. At least twenty regional cultural varieties of opera are actively practice in Taiwan today. Settlers introduced some of the regional operetta styles from Fu Jiang, and Guang Dong Prior to the arrival of the nationalist’s government in 1949. Numerous others were introduced after 1949 has nationalist military personal hailing from regions all over China made their way to Taiwan. In this first installment of this regional variety of Chinese opera we will briefly introduce four kinds of opera Hakkanese tea opera, Northern school or Bei Guan opera, Henan opera and Shao Xing opera.
