Also known by another penname Huang Mu, Huang's real name
is Huang Zuciang; he graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong majoring in Fine
Arts. He once worked as the Assistant Chairperson of Hong Kong Museum of Art. In 1989, He
resigned from his high ranking and well-paid job, moved to a mountainous island with good
fongshui, and started a new life as a professional novelist. He reads many different
books, such as astronomy, computer science, classical and modern Chinese literature,
Chinese texts about astrology and the occult. His syuanhua novels combining wusia novels
with sci-fi are very popular. With vivid descriptions and fast paced episodes, his story
is like a series of moving pictures, which lead readers into a fascinating world.
