Fuji Temple

In the Yuan dynasty (1279-1368) Kinmen was constantly troubled by Japanese pirates, so the court erected this protective temple at the foot of Mount Fonglian. As this area had been used for horse husbandry since the Tang dynasty, the local people also call it Mumahou Temple, or Temple of the Horse Master.
